So I was playing Comp last night with 2 of my friends and we stumbled about something I call
'Lag abuser'. He was basically almost unkillable 90% of the time and kept 2 tapping with a Handcannon and other weapons and I really doubt that, that is just normal lagging
Can this evidence get him banned or suspended? It's getting really on my nerves that people like that most of the time get away with no punishment.
His Steam profile (incase it's needed): [Redacted]
Regards
KyuRo

I've removed the links of the person who you stated was cheating. Bungie takes reports and game bans VERY seriously, and so they carefully research those reports against their server logs for actual shenanigans (cheating/exploits). If those reports and the investigation bear fruit, the cheaters will be dealt with. But things, like making a vid, creating a topic, and/or naming them here on the forums, serves no purpose and has no benefit. If you have used the in-game report tool, then you've done your part. And thank you for doing so. For those who want to take the extra step, or were kicked from the game (and are unable to access the reporting tool), Bungie has created a Cheating Submission Form that allows players to find the PGCR (Post Game Carnage Report) from their personal history, fill out an official report, describe the cheating, and even link a vid (if they have one). Please feel free and encouraged to use this tool, but pay close attention to the warnings on the form. * If you are not confident that a player was cheating, do not use this form. * Abuse of this contact form may result in account restrictions. * Fraudulent reports and submissions unrelated to cheating may result in disciplinary actions against your account.

The links and video violate the Code of Conduct, remove them before you get in trouble with a community ninja. If you suspect cheating, report them in the game or go here.

If you think he is cheating, please use the in-game report functions. You can also view your game history and report people that way as well. Naming and shaming is only going to get you in trouble, so I would highly suggest you remove the profile link. It’s not necessary.
