Any tips for me? I want to try it tonight and I need to get in the right mindset.

You’re likely not going to get it on a regular night of sleep. Naps are where you’ll get it most reliably.

Consistent moaning and humming in your sleep = catathrenia. It's not a sleep apnea and CPAP does not help. Dont know what its called but exhaling and then not taking a breath is another symptom that tends to go along with the moaning .... all while being asleep. I lucid dream sometimes...more so in the day if I take a power nap.. sometimes the moaning snaps me awake only to realize it is me.

If you do try it just be sure to remember that you could -blam!- up and give yourself sleep paralysis instead. So it's slightly risky I guess because sleep paralysis is the worst.

Meditate while you’re awake. Do a meditation that’s a self-hypnosis. Practice this until you can somewhat consistently self-hypnotize. Then do the same meditation to go to sleep. After you are in self-hypnosis, visualize your dream. The best self-hypnosis meditation for me is one where you completely relax while laying on your back. Then focus your attention on every single muscle and body part one t a time starting with each toe, moving all the way up to the top of your head. You attempt to feel in detail that part of you and move each individual muscle before moving on to the next one. After you have completed that, then you imagine all negativity slowly descending into the earth as a sort of invisible fog pouring out of your spirit. Then you start imagining that your dominant arm is full of helium as a test. I’m right handed, so I imagine my right arm being full of helium and the lighter weight than the air. When done correctly, your arm will raise up and feel like it is floating. This is how you know you’re in a hypnotic state. The first time I succeeded, the shock of it working and my arm floating up snapped me out of it lol. So it takes practice and a lot of focus.

And what is it you hope to dream about ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

My demon told me we're out of Chex Mix

You have to check if you're in a dream on a regular basis so it becomes a habit, I think.
-
Step 2: lucid dream.

I can teach you how to have sleep paralysis and meet your sleep paralysis demon

Yeah ask God to make the transition back into the body a smooth one. Otherwise you can experience astral catalepsy. This occurs when your spirit and soul enters the body to quickly and like a rubber band that snaps the conciousness of the body collides with you. This is awful experience , it is defined as laying in your body but you are unable to move.

It's not something you can just start doing because you want to. It takes practice and being aware of the dream while dreaming. It's not easy starting off.

I usually wake up if I realise I'm dreaming 😟

Edited by Orcinus Orca: 12/21/2019 1:01:28 AMWhen I realize I'm dreamimg I grab the nearest female and -blam!- her but then I always wake up before I'm done which is really frustrating.

Tip: you can't just start doing it. It takes practice

Edited by pValue2010: 12/20/2019 3:31:36 PMOnly done it a handful of times.. it’s not like you can simply will yourself into it. Sometimes I feel sleep paralysis kicking in while I’m still conscious and not yet asleep. This has always been key to me inducing lucid dreaming. Don’t fight the fear that sleep paralysis tends to bring on... just keep your eyes closed, relax, and expect to feel like you’re falling into nothingness. Once that’s happened, you’re in the dream and in control. Typically I’ll “open” my eyes and be in my childhood bed (in the dream, of course). Oh, and alcohol. Its only happened to me after a night of drinking.

Pop some LSD itll be like a lucid dream while you're awake
-
Uhhh, for me I just dream and create. I just think I know something is there, and poof, it's there.
-
Sleep, then wake to an alarm, then sleep again.
-
While you are falling asleep, you need to start the dream yourself before you're even asleep. So when you actually fall asleep, you wont register it and you have control over the dream as if you were awake. It takes practice
