I was doing a workaround to try and get the EDZ Obelisk to work. I eventually got it working and proceeded to do my business with it. But while I was in the Obelisk menu, a public event started up in the area and I noticed that my camera view behind the menu changed to my Guardian POV. When I backed out of the Obelisk menu, the interaction option was gone again. The public event was the Glimmer Extraction one. There was also other players in the area, but I doubt that has anything to do with the cause. I don't have a way to share video proof of it happening, but I think the situation can be recreated. If you haven't found anything yet, Bungie, then maybe this is worth looking into?
