Ok, I'm someone who is a PvE only player, I highly Dislike PvP
and there are people who are PvP only Players, who Highly dislike PvE
But Putting those Differences to the Side, we Need more Alternatives to Events and Quests
Add more PvP alternatives to the PvE quests, and Don't Lock PvE content behind a PvP requirement, add a simple alternative that Rewards the PvP players with Quicker completion
I am making this Post because, of course, I am Unhappy with the Saint-XIV Story having a PvP requirement, But I Horribly worded my last Thread.
And I am Well aware this makes me look like an Entitled whiny Baby.
But Please hear me out, The Saint-XIV should have a PvE alternative put in place simply because the Objective does not make a Lick of Sense, we charge the Obelisks with Light gathered from various means, why add a requirement for Guardian Defeats now?
My Suggestions is simple and Reasonable: Remove the Required Defeat 25 Guardians, and Replace with a Larger amount of Light needing to be Gathered, but Guardian Defeats add Bonus Progress to Reward the PvP players, while not cutting out the PvE players
Please, It's not like these would be hard to do things, and it would make the game more enjoyable to more people in the Long run.

This is Bungie trolling PVE players for playing only half of their game. You can always flip the script by refusing to complete the Saint-14 quest to make a point with Bungie's internal metrics. The fewer the number of players completing the quest, the less likely Bungie will repeat this decision in future patches. Or, they can ignore PVE'er at their own peril.

You should have to play the game to get rewards. If you don’t want to play pvp, you don’t get a pvp reward or quest.
