FOMO: The Fear of Missing Out
An eight year old could tell you the definition of this philosophy with his first guess- but somehow, young adults and teens have found a way to re-appropriate the meaning of this philosophy into a weapon they can use against anything that is advertised.
FOMO is a problem with the person, not with the corporation.
Nobody held you at gun-point when you purchased Shadowkeep or the Annual Pass.
Don't blame unobtrusive and optional content for your gambling addiction.
Next time you visit your local McDonalds and buy the entire menu because you were afraid of missing out on any of the delicious food they offer- storm the place while crying and screaming "et per patriarchus" demanding a refund for abusing your poor psyche.

EDIT: PsYcHoLoGiCaL MaNiPuLaTiON
If Bungie is psychologically manipulating you, every corporation in the world that's ever released an advertisement is psychologically manipulating you.
Just don't buy it. Your wallet is a much more useful speaking tool than your useless mouth, I promise.
It's like saying "GOD THIS FOOD SUCKS" while cramming your face with the food in question.
A vocal sheep is still a sheep. You've never been forced into buying anything.

Now, this guy was just speaking straight out of his shit-hole.
I hate close-minded arguments that lack perspective.
Perspective? Close-minded? You responding with NO argument to the ONLY person defending this side is close-minded. Ironic and moronic.
I'm going to paint them as the bad person!
It's much easier to mute morons with no empathy.
No empathy. Wow. I shouldn't even have to explain what is wrong with that statement.
You people think I'm the majority here? Bunch of idiots.
Crowds love to blame anyone but themselves.
Keep being idiots. Keep blaming others for your weakness.
I'm sure it'll workout in the long-term.

It's so weird how this forum treats FOMO like a verb.
