Guardians, Brace Yourselves For Server Issues Next Week
As it is customary for Destiny 2 to launch seasonal events with extra content and mechanics, the servers tend to behave in irregular ways during those times, usually requiring Bungie to do some sort of maintenance. Last year's Dawning event had some issues that made it unplayable during the majority of the first day. What was the error code that everyone kept getting? GUITAR?
Anyways, this post is just a heads-up for everyone that is preparing to bake delicious treats with Eva next week during the new Dawning event. There are a lot of problems with the game right now, so it should be no surprise if the servers start messing up really bad next week. Expect anything to happen and try to be patient with the servers. Fixing them isn't as simple as flipping a switch.
I'm just hoping that a bit of people read this post. During the last major server incident, lots of players seemed to be left really confused for something that could be considered common with the game at this point for some people. The forums were literally being spammed with the same reports in tons of different posts, usually ending with "what's going on" and "why is my game doing this". Many other posts were getting lost in the mess.
So yeah. Brace yourselves, eyes up and prepare for your holiday fixes.
