I wrote an allegory

It might need some revising and editing, but here it is. It's kind of dark if you see the underlying meaning. I'm not sure if I'm good at writing, but here goes. And if you don't know what an allegory is, it's a story, poem, or picture that can be interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning, typically a moral or political one.(thank you google) Allegory of the School Child  There was once a depressed student who attended a very prestigious school; it was the only school in his country, and it was the place to be if you wanted a good life, but the student felt very unappreciated and unwelcomed by his peers who made it seem that they always wanted him to leave or disappear. Many of his fellow colleagues said things like, "Leave this place and never come back,” or, “Why don’t you just leave? It would make everyone happy.” This happened very often, and perhaps many of these mean phrases were meant as jokes, but when he heard them over and over, he was convinced that everyone wanted him gone.   One day, the student decided that he had enough of all of this. People kept on telling him that they wanted him gone and that they wanted him to waste his only chance of ever having a good life. Perhaps it was just because he seemed different, or maybe it was the fact that he was just a random target to make fun of for entertainment. The student had known that his colleagues did not mostly intend for the demeaning phrases to be portrayed seriously, but instead as  fun, harmless jokes. Once in a while, his peers would even tell him that they didn’t really mean it, but they still continued with the crudeness of it. The fact is, that it wasn’t only the degrading jokes. People would ignore him and never let a conversation carry out when with him. Old friends seemed like they pretended that he didn’t exist anymore. Depressed and feeling worthless, the sad student eventually devised a plan of leaving the school. For him, it wasn’t really worth it to stay anymore, and he just wanted this torture to be over. He had no true friends who comforted him, and his parents started to say the same cruel things that his peers did. The student didn’t want to tell anyone his plan in fear of them stopping him. The day before the student’s plan was enacted, he was really sad and not doing well in class at all. The peers’ words were still the usual crudeness, and this just motivated the student to go through with his plan. Teachers never did anything to help or comfort him, nobody noticed that it had gotten bad. When getting teased, ridiculed, and hated at near the end of the school, the student broke. He started telling his peers that they were right and that he should leave his only chance at life and end it all. The peers started trying to comfort him, telling the student that he was loved and it wasn’t worth it to throw his life away. They said more things like life is precious and to get help with his classes. The student felt comforted and decided that he shouldn’t go through with his plan, after all, his peers told him that he should stay and to not listen to those mean things.  The next day the student came to school, and he thought that since everybody comforted him, that they would start to enjoy his presence. It was like that for the first day. He was invited to conversations and he was comforted again. The next day, however, the student found that it had been just like before. It seemed that people forgot about the entire situation and acted like everyone was fine. The student was not fine. He still felt terrible all the time and he started realizing that nobody actually wanted to be with him. They just didn’t want to be the ones to blame for his sudden absence. People ridiculed him again and he still tried his best to be liked and be talked to. But however, he was still rejected and he couldn’t stand it anymore. He had to leave, he needed to be out of this torture. He couldn’t keep living on like this. His parents were always cruel, but it got even worse. The kid needed to disappear, to run away.   After that day was over, he acted on his plan. The student disappeared. Nobody ever saw him again, and he was grieved for. People kept on telling themselves that they shouldn't have been so hard on him and that they should have been nice to him. But he was gone, and it was too late.
