What's up with Warlocks forever getting the short end of the stick?
The TWaB today highlights 3 new Exotic armor pieces. One gives Hunters a explosive detonation left behind on dodge (that already reloads weapons or recharges melee and can give invisibility). Another gives Titans explosive damage on melee kills to a class that already has a shoulder charge build on every elemental subclass.
Warlocks get an exotic that grants rifts on Dawnblade kills.
Rifts.
Also known as those things that are worthless in PvP outside of running and hiding to regain health a bit faster but not really when accounting for cast duration.
Ever tried casting rift when an enemy is near or shows up during cast? It's a death sentence. Ever had rift let you live through any additional damage from anything?
Nope.
I honestly don't get it. I know the other classes like to go on and on and on about hand held supernova- that I would guess the average guardian dies to once per every 50 shoulder charge deaths- and which is also on exactly one subclass tree, but let's be real, Warlocks are not on equal ground with the other classes in PvP.
I understand Bungie wants them to be this "support" class, and that's all fine and great in PvE, but it doesn't transfer to PvP at all, particularly when it's really hard to support when your support abilities get you and everyone else killed.

Here everyone, stand in my healing rift! Oh sorry, we're all dead now.[/quote]
At least a Titian barricade does something and stops incoming damage. They're actually effective for area control. Rifts do nothing.
Really disappointed in this Warlock exotic. I'm happy for Titans and Hunters who are getting interesting new things, but I'm left wondering why Bungie leave warlocks in the game if they really don't want them to play equally.
