Subnautica Moments
0-0 Title says all, what are the scariest/funnest/wondrous moments for y’all?
I’ll list mine out...
>_> I’m only about 10 hours into the game (got it recently) and getting cyclops bridge parts was... well... it was something.
I pop outta my seamoth, go to scan something, turn back, only to see my seamoth long gone, and a reaper leviathan having gone for it. I booked it out of there with a seaglide and didn’t return for quite some time.

1 ReplyFirst time using the cyclops I immediately rushed the lava area but realized right at the entrance I didn't have a deep enough depth module so out of my impatience I ditched the vehicles and went into the lava cave with my seaglide. Everything is clear and easy at first then I hear a roar so I was spooked but didn't see anything but when I went to turn back I realized that a sea dragon leviathan that I heard roar moments ago was literally [b]above my head[/b]. So when I saw him charge at me I screamed, nearly fell out of my chair, and alt-f4ed the game and left my pc for a few hours.

11 RepliesI was out looking for copper (also PLEASE ANYONE I NEED HELP FINDING COPPER PLZ TELL ME WHERE YOU CAN FIND SOME) near the Aurora crash site/mushroom forest when my screen shakes and I spin around and *boom* reaper leviathan. needless to say I booked it out of there and havent gone back yet

There was this one time where I was chilling in the beginning life pod and about 7 of those barracuda fish guys from the seaweed place next to the Safe Shallows (we never trust Ronin’s memory for names) decided they wanted to check out my life pod. [b]For 45 minutes.[/b] I just stood on top frantically waving my little knife while they basically leaped over the pod and bit at me and all sorts of stuff.

4 RepliesEdited by Derpy Taco11: 12/10/2019 2:05:04 AMScariest moment- I used a -blam!- gun a reaper and stabbed it 185 times. It died. I jump in my seamoth and leave. I’m going to assume that this was an issue with the spawns in the biome because five seconds later I got ripped apart by the same reaper. Beautiful moment- there is a huge cave in between the bulb Zone and mountains. The Inside is lit up buy hundreds of glowing barnacles and thousands of beautiful fish. It’s quite breathtaking how good this game is. Edit: So S T A S I S is banned word. Glad we know that now.

4 RepliesI’ve got 2, one stupid, one scary. 1) I started a hardcore world about a week ago. A couple days ago I was raiding(or whatever you wanna call it) the Aurora. I was putting out a fire and forgot to check my health, I stepped into the fire a little bit and I died. And I lost all my progress. I was so upset but it was kinda funny at the same time, just because it was stupid how I died. I had about 15 med kits too. 2) I think I was in the waters around the Aurora during my first play though and I was in my seamoth. Suddenly my camera starts shaking and turns around and I’m staring a reaper leviathan right in the mouth. I was so scared and hoped I wouldn’t die. Thankfully it let me go before my moth got destroyed. Honorable mentions: anytime that one friendly leviathan does telepathy with you. When the image first pops up. It’s so surprising.

1 ReplyI was exploring the sunbeam island for cyclops parts. I'm in my seamoth and all of a sudden I'm attacked by a reaper leviathan from behind. My seamoth is almost destroyed so I book it. I get attacked by another and it gets destroyed so I book it back to base with my seaglide. Also, crabsquids give me nightmares

3 RepliesMy friend nearly had a panic attack on the mic. He was exploring the Great Reef or whatever and a ghost leviathan spawned directly in front of him. He lost it lol. I haven’t personally played the game yet, I will soon tho.
