Hey all, I've been running into this odd bug in Destiny 2 where sprinting will completely break, seemingly at random. I'll be in the middle of an event or somesuch, and the sprint feature will suddenly break. Pressing the key I have binded to hold to sprint does not work, sprinting simply ceases to function. Even if I switch maps, rebind the key, tab out of the fullscreen window and tab back in, etc, it does not resolve. Interestingly enough, if I tab out of Destiny and open notepad, and I hold down whatever key is binded to sprinting, that key will not function. Holding it down, mashing it, etc does not work. It seems there's a bug in Destiny that blocks/'eats' input to whatever key you have binded to sprinting from reaching the operating system. Closing destiny resolves the issue, after closing destiny the key begins behaving normally again.
Not sure what's causing this, as you can imagine this bug is driving me utterly insane. I've died seven times now because the sprint feature will break in the middle of an attack, causing me to die.
It should be noted that I am running an insider build of windows, this might be causing the problem, however it is extremely unlikely as every other game I play functions just fine, it's only destiny 2 that has this issue. An operating system API that destiny 2 uses might have changed or something, causing the issue.
Relevant info :
Destiny patch version : Not sure where to find this, if a kind soul could tell me where to check the currently installed version of the game I'd appreciate it!
Operating System : Windows 10, Insider build 19025.1052, Version 1903
Processor : AMD Ryzen 5 2500U (Typically this wouldn't be relevant but I noticed other AMD related bugs on the "known bugs" section)
RAM (not relevant) : 8 GB
Graphics : I'm using Ryzen's Radeon Vega graphics, yes the game runs relatively well on low graphics settings.
