Destiny is a game for everyone, not just for streamers
I am not really for a select few streamers telling those who didn’t like the reveal to play another game. Not cool. Going after devs or a company for this isn’t good either. Bungie is willing to listen and as much as we celebrate their triumphs, the mis-steps need to be addressed as well.
Also this conversation about the season costing only 10$, I think it has more to do with those trying to find a reason to play consistently for the whole season. While shadowkeep was amazing, the season of undying lacked the replayability of previous seasons.
If Black armory had a few less forges, it still would have been a solid expansion simply because you had a very good loop of loot farming. To date forges have set a standard of how to entice players to try to grind for something just that one more time.
I am also for reserving judgement and actually waiting to see what the content is before getting angry about it. This has more to do with how little was shown today when people are trying to convince both themselves and their friends to come back to destiny.
Isolating such people and asking them to play another game, calling them a nerd or whatever doesn’t work. At the end of the day a healthy and active player base is good both for the game and it’s community.

2 RepliesGod yes!!!!! FINALLY, some intelligent words!! The God dang streamers have influenced Bungo to make this game over complicated, on average too difficult, and generally not fun anymore. Just now I got on strikes (hadn’t run them since a few updates ago - lots of updates lately) and found that my 974 warlock with 57 mob, 66 res, 63 rec gets PUMMELED in standard strikes!! Why the frick did I grind for months to stay ahead of the curve only to find myself having gained NOTHING. In actuality the same character was nearly unstoppable as a 950 with the same armor and weapons (not masterworked). What kind of sense does that make?

There are few good streamers who can be objective, unfortunately those are not the ones Bungie pays attention to because they look at subscribers/views only. Most of the streamers with most viewers play a limited amount of different playstyles and have no clue about the others. It's sad that they do this, if they had polls in game instead of using Twitter/Forums they'd get an idea of what the hell the majority of the paying customers want instead of bullshit minor tweaks which they manage to F up anyway.

That’s why they signed agreements and calendar of content with some communitarian streamers. You got to realize that all they have is reddit, their forums, and the streamers who signed NDAs with them. Although the latter is a very stupid strategy with costs and no reward, since these streamers are so biased and opinionated that no one gives credit to what they say, and their followers and fanboys already preorder everything so: wasted cost, and energy. Not surprising from management noobs who know more about nepotism than merit. Edit: I find forges to be the worst content. I understand the grind, but I highly disagree, Menagerie is trillion times better than these shit ass forges.

And neither studio or ego-streamer can never be trusted again! Bungie need to remember that there are millions of people playing this game, and I would bet that 80% of them don’t give a flying toss about ‘content creators sponsored by Astro etc We just want a challenging, fun & passionately built game with depth, story & respect from the studio

And a lot of my former clanmates too. While the loot is underwhelming, Eververseum is full of cool looking stuff iIwan´t to be rewarded with. BUT through playing, not paying. And the gamemodes are boring, Gambit is shit, no new pinnacle weapons, no vender refresh, Armor 2.0 is a hamster-wheel-shitshow, old loot is useless, PVP is still trash. And again they re-use and reskin old shit: Menagerie 2.0. Why should I play this? 3 new exos for 3-4 months? LMAO. Too bad for the fanboys who bought the 60 € SK version and will be bamboozled again, while they defend to be scammed.

Season of Dawn litterraly isn't controlled by streamers.... Its made for the casuals.... No new raid... No new Dungeon.... Handing out Exotics.... 6 Man matchmaking activity that's a reskinned menagerie with cabal. Casuals have a bigger control on Destiny than streamers atm.😂😂😂

Agree with a lot of what you say but the thing about streamers is a lot of them give good criticism of the game, which makes sense because they play it for a living. There have been times where many of them were dead wrong but overall a lot of what they say about the game is right imo. They play it all day long. Its like telling any other person that does something for a living that they don't know what they are talking about. You don't tell your doctor or dentist that you know more about medical stuff than they do, do you? Yes I know playing videogames is not a real job and blah blah blah but they have the opinions they have for a reason. Sometimes that reason has to do with their pocketbook but a lot of times its really for the health of the game. There's nothing wrong with disagreeing with the direction the game is taking but Bungie has been decently up front with the reasons for why its going in this direction and what we should expect going forward. The reveal could have been longer but at the same time, the fact that people felt like they didn't get enough info just makes it look like people are clamoring for more of the stuff that Bungie puts out.

1 ReplyLol how can you find the black armory great ? The forges are insanely borring, its one of the worst activity they ever designed. The quests to unlock them were unbarable...going trough old content over and over... Niobe labs were trash and had no loots. The raid was the only good thing and even tough...there is only 4 "raid weapons" that should have been forge weapons. Only good thing about this season was a few weapons. Buw when it comes to activities...it was pure trash.
