Dragon's Breath was basically Destiny's first Grenade Launcher, I'd love to see it re-imagined in Destiny 2. The linked image is just an idea I threw together based on the M79 and the F-4 Phantom, since the original Dragon's Breath seems to be tied to the Vietnam era by its Napalm perk.

Could definitely see this being viable in some dps loadouts (as long as it's in the energy slot), pairing it with a good heavy grenade launcher or sniper and using the napalm like anarchy with it's electric spike grenades.

In what way was Dragons Breath a grenade launcher. It fired rocket propelled napalm canisters.

I loved using that launcher with the gauntlets that granted extra heavy ammo. Flames for days. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I feel like the deathbringer kinda fills the role that this weapon had in d1 tho. That being said i think they could bring it back as more of an area denial type weapon. Give it auto loading holster and rampage. The napalm would cover a very large area and last for a good bit, this i think is where rampage would kick in if you aimed at a boss with a few minions around. And of course your could swap to another weapon while the burn is ticking Kinda like anarchy. So it would be good for adds but still be somewhat viable against boss and stuff.

I used to say that bringing back Eris and DB would get me back in to the game. Usually with an asterisk about making strikes fun.

Kinda been wanting this for a minute would be way better in this game than d1
