Bungie definitely knows how to make trailers for the game. Season of the Dawn trailer is beautifully done and looks fun. Obviously the livestream helped prove that it actually does look like a good season instead of us thinking it looked good by a trailer. My opinions on the matter.
•All the new finishers are pretty cool, but it sounds like the only one earnable in the season pass. Other ones sounded like they will he pushed into paywall.
•The weapons looked sexy along with the armor. Nothing negative to say about any of them. They don’t look like fully recycled trash like we had in Season of the Undying.
•FINALLY changing the meta away from special weapons!! Looks like Bows, Scouts, and Pulses are being pushed to the forefront in PvE.
•They didn’t show too much on the exotics we will be able to get, and that’s okay. The fun part about exotics (if they are good) is seeing how they work!
•DeeJ avoided the community issues which I have a problem with. We need to have a discussion on the state of Eververse. The community hates it and you can’t lock the coolest stuff in the game behind money when we pay for the game plus each season.
•The artifact ACTUALLY looks good with all the perks this season. Season of the Undying artifact was poorly done with its perks.
•The Sundial looks like a very fun activity and I hope it plays out that way. Vex Offensive was very bad and it looks like they put the work into this activity!
All and all it was a solid livestream, but very disappointed DeeJ didn’t have them discuss Eververse. Obviously that’s because Bungie DOES NOT want to address it so I guess can’t put the blame on him. Hope this season plays as good as it looks.

Have to down vote you here. It was not a solid livestream. They didn't address any of the community issues and it looks like we are getting another horde mode and recycled map with additional recycled maps to follow. I realize the focus of the stream was the up and coming content, however a quality stream would have addressed both sides of the game. Bungie previously stated they had a new focus on PVP and it is yet to be seen or even discussed. Bungie is going to force you into PVP regardless if you like PVP or not. They should have addressed PVP Quality of Life concerns -- like matchmaking, Lag, P2P, etc..... The matcmaking is ruining PVP. Most matches are stomp or get stomped and the lag has become increasingly worse. I realize not every player experiences these issue but we have all seen enough posts that Bungie should address this.
