Hey there Bungie, with the next season coming around I kinda just wanted to share a small bit of feedback on little bits of "quality of life" things. I know some of these suggestions may not be considered in future updates (or they might be just straight up ignored). But anyway... onto the topics at hand.
1. Masterworked Weapons:
- So, this is just a small and yet odd thing to ask, but it would be a bit nicer if the Masterworked weapons (especially if they have kill trackers on) could continue to track kills regardless of what activity you're in? I know it's not a super important thing, but I find it annoying that I have to remember to manually switch my kill tracker to Crucible kills on my weapons... after being past 20 games in Control or Iron Banner or something.
- I know this probably won't apply to year one weapons because those masterworks are programmed differently and can only be set to Vanguard or Crucible (unless we expend Enhancement Cores into them to change it).
2. Weapon sights:
- Okay so this one is a weird topic, but it's something I have been thinking about for sometime... maybe later down the road for Destiny's future. Many of the different and unique guns that we have in the world of Destiny 2 are all (for the most part) unique in their own way. But for weapons that are not exotic, pinnacle, or ritual weapons, I feel would be nice to have the option to change the sights on certain legendary guns.
- For example, I really like the Bite of the Fox sniper (my go to for the Revoker challenge). And I really like the sight that gun has. And I didn't realize that until I got Revoker. It was weird to handle at first because I was so used to the Bite of the Fox's styled sight. (I got better with Revoker eventually but I hope that demonstrated the point) It would be nice to see certain weapons with different or changeable sights from other guns we as Guardians have owned previously.
- I imagine we'd have to take little steps on that to see how others would like it. Have different auto rifle sights be exchangeable with other auto rifle sights that are available. And I AM AWARE that some of the randomly rolled guns do have two to three "sights" to choose from depending on the weapon, but some weapons' sights don't change at all. Also, some perks only focus on the barrel (Which doesn't visually change at all when switched)
I don't expect this to ever happen in the near future but maybe it'll be something the team considers later down the road?
3. Armor Ornaments:
- Okay so I've kinda had a small problem with this for a long time now since the launch of armor 2.0... And I'm sure the community has complained about this too. How Eververse Ornaments are the only thing available to alter the armor look. I don't want to be fueling the fire but I feel as if I kinda have to. Playing the game since launch I have a few different ornaments from past events I wanted to use on my armor, but sadly due to how Armor 2.0 is set up, I would have to have the specific armor gear that corresponds to the ornament I want to equip.
- Faction Rally gear from year one is the big one that sticks out. I know Faction Rally's aren't a thing anymore but it would be nice to have accessibility to those ornaments we earned at the very least. Iron Banner is not as concerning because I at least have updated gear from Iron Banner that I can use past ornaments on.
Anyway those are just some of my suggestions on improving the "quality of life" portions for the game. I know some of those suggestions are not the best for feedback purposes but I at least want to put my opinion out there.
