Anyone ever done a raid without mic?
Like a full team of dudes/dudettes without mic's, and everything just go smoothly?
I recently moved from PS4 to Xbox, and luckily for me, I could still use my headset on my Xbox controller..
Unfortunately, my eldest daughter got her hands on it, and now I don't have a headset, lol.
So my question is, how likely is it for me to get into a fireteam and beat a raid, and not get kicked because I don't have a mic?

An absolute necessity? No. But nobody is going to appreciate you not being on the comms

Not likely

If you've done the raid a bunch and can do the roles that don't require communication (example, gather motes in 3rd phase of GoS) then yes. If you're new, absolutely not, you won't go far.

I've never attempted a raid with no communication by the whole team. Usually verbal communication is easier than signaling by emotes. People also need the know the encounters by heart to win with no mics.

I think raids should have 2 versions. Current with the best loot. A more simple, MATCHMADE version that offers slightly inferior loot.

Not really but it does help. I know you can 5 man Scourge of the Past so guardian #6 with no mic can tag along.

Not necessarily, but most of the time if somebody doesn’t have a mic it usually means they are inexperienced. You could have completed the raid many times and as long as you know the mechanics you should be fine tho. You just may need to offer some communication before encounters to say what role you are performing.
