I was playing Momentum Control earlier (let me tell you, when you get a laggy match in there, it sucks) and I was using a Calus Noblesse, a High-Impact Frame, Void scout rifle. Obviously, I was going for those 1-shot kills that are every where with scout rifles in there. My scout rifle has Disruption Break and Dragonfly as its perks. I played on a Nova Warp Warlock, so I didn't have anything that affected my damage.
Noticed something weird. In some of my engagements, any body shots I did dealt slightly less than a quarter of the enemy's health in damage. And then in other cases (I'm pretty sure I hit around the neck area), I take out a solid half of their health in a single body shot. These were 1v1s. They did not appear to be buffed or debuffed. I was the only one hitting my targets and there were no yellow numbers. I don't even know if the values were different. All I know is the main case where I did less damage, I was up close at hip-fire range and cases where I took out an odd half of their health, I was at mid-range for scout rifles.
Something is really inconsistent there. I also saw a few invisible/rendering Guardians in the Crucible, so maybe the game is freaking out again? There were some pretty laggy matches. I don't know if the hip-fire makes that much of a difference in damage or if it's even a factor in all of these instances.

This isn't a bug, this is the other people having higher/lower resilience traits.
