Good morning, day or evening gents. It’s Friday, so you know what that means...
EVERYTHING HALF OFF AT THE MAUL!
Kidding. It’s Friday Game Chat, the day where we take time out of our lives to talk about our favorite games, discuss certain topics (Like how DICE Battlefront 2’s history is eerily similar to Density’s) and share memories. Which means today’s theme is of course, Gaming.
Before we start, I’d like to announce that at the end of this series’ first week I will be going through each day of Offtopic Music Appreciation and shall select my top ten picks for the week. Of course, my word is not gospel, so everyone is free to share their top ten picks for the week.
Now, on to the music!
My selection today should be familiar to those who’ve played Minecraft before it made its resurgence in popularity. No, it’s not Revenge, or anything made by CaptainSparklez.
It’s from a little future game called Hytale. Y’know, the “Minecraft Killer.”

This OST is amazing. It fits so well thematically with the fantasy element of Hytale, and even then is just so good alone. This song is one of the reasons I am confident in this game’s success, the others being that the developers are actually some of the people behind Hypixel, a popular Minecraft server, which means they can’t be in this just for the money, that they’re an independent company, and instead of rushing this game’s release like so many other companies (looking at you, No Man’s Sky) they’re taking all the time they need to make it a complete game. And they’ve been taking a lot of time. Hytale’s first (and only as of present) trailer was released on December 13th of last year (which is coincidentally my birth date.), and it’s almost December again, marking one whole year with no set release date for the game
Needless to say, I will be watching this game’s career with great interest, as well as something else I’ve been hearing about, which is that Terraria is apparently getting a sequel (more on that in another post)
Anyway, I’m getting off topic,(ironic) now it’s your turn.
Alright, alright, alright! Let’s see what music you got!
*Tosses Mic to you*

This is a little awkward, we both made a post about music from video games XD

Bump for later, for when I'm not in class

Favorite games? Hmm... well to start I'd have to go with Destiny and Destiny 2. Not the vanilla ones, because I didn't like those, but everything else was pretty amazing. Next is Halo Reach because I haven't finished any of the others, but that one was amazing and my first one. After that comes Skyrim, because Skyrim, and then Black ops 3 because of the beautiful gunplay, which makes up for a slightly disappointing beginning to the campaign *breathes out hard* Alright, that's the end of my rant
