Not even kidding anymore, Bungie made The Reckoning even WORSE than it used to be. Our problems were that the weapons were unobtainable, the bridge relies on impossible odds, and the armor is so freaking hard to grind for with little loot for so much time wasted.
Now, I will say right now that the weapons are far easier to get and am happy on that end with how Bungie dealt with the situation.
HOWEVER, with Armor 2.0 out, there is so much to work to earn. With this comes the Reckoning armor, with its vibrant snake glows and its unique ominous appearance. What Bungie- to the benefit of the doubt- intentionally did was make the bridge nearly impossible to beat now.
A while ago, they nerfed supers. In doing so, it has become much harder to use them, since the orbs give less progress. For Crucible, Strikes, and Raids it makes supers far more strategic and fun to use. With Reckoning, however, it is so much harder to pass.
The bridge requires players to hold a zone for a minute. If they are off, even for a couple of seconds, the zone is not captured and players must restart the entire Reckoning activity over again. While there is nothing wrong with not winning every time, still the bridge requires no screw-ups, and supers are one of the few defenses against those freaking OGRES!
The ogres slap in a massive radius and spawn quite often, forcing players to defeat the ogres when they are off the plates (which I already discussed is bad). Failure to do so will cause the rest of the team to be slapped off the edge, waiting a whopping twelve seconds of that time waiting to respawn you a couple feet back from where you need to be.
This activity is exhausting and a waste of time at the moment for those reasons. With supers too slow to act on, and ogres with tremendous power, I wouldn't try to play this for a while. Sorry. :\
