For the record, I play on console.
Wasn't really a fan of BrayTech Winter Wolf back then. Heard lots of other auto rifle connoisseurs say that it was really nice for a precision frame. To me, it lacked my taste in combat utility. I like weapons I can use at both close and medium/average ranges very effectively. A lot of the times I used it, I felt like I was missing a lot of shots and getting punished for it, perhaps due to its recoil and range stat. Zen Moment would've helped me a lot if I actually landed my shots. I don't know, it just didn't feel that sticky back then.
But here comes BrayTech Werewolf, rising from another life. I managed to score a good random roll on it with Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds, Tap the Trigger, Under Pressure and a reload masterwork. I put a Counterbalance Stock mod on it and wow, just wow. This thing feels sticky. And it shoots so straight, I can pepper an enemy really far with it while holding down the trigger.
I've been seeing a lot of mixed reviews on the gun, but if you're a fan of auto rifles, you should at least try and get yourself a few random rolls before the event ends. It's easy to grind for and you have a lot of time, so you shouldn't miss it.
And it glows in the dark. Glowhoo if it were a gun.

Just like Horror Story from last year, the Werewolf is a damn good gun. The curated roll is a freaking laser beam. That kind of AR was definitely needed on console with such a heavy focus on ARs this season in regards to the Artifact. The Werewolf brings PC levels of recoil (or lack thereof) to console. I just wish Bungie would tone down recoil for ARs, SMGs, LMGs, and Sidearms on console just a tad though across the board. Or, for my clan to all switch to PC....
