So I recently got a PC and switched from PS4 to PC with Destiny 2. But before that I had played on PS4 all the way up to right before the season pass for Forsaken came out. I did all the story missions and everything else before I took a break from D2 on PS4. Recently I played again on PS4 right before Shadowkeep dropped (Right when they made the Annual Forsaken Pass free to all) and started some of the mission (i.e.: Black Armory stuff). Then I stopped again for about a month and then made the switch to PC. But the thing about me playing Destiny 2 on PS4 is that I never truly owned it; I had been game sharing with a friend (Game sharing is when you and a friend use one another accounts and make it so that the opposite account [not your's] is the main one on your console. This allows you to use your own account to play games the other one has; i.e.: Destiny 2). So when I moved to PC i had to buy Destiny 2 Forsaken and Shadowkeep (but I haven't gotten around to buying Shadowkeep yet). I was able to use cross save and get my characters and things onto PC, but I found another problem that arose. Since I never actually, personally owned the game on my account, I do not think Bungie/Destiny 2's network or system or whatever recognized that I have played and completed all of the stuff I've done (story, missions, etc.) on my new PC game/characters. So now it says that I have to do the entire Forsaken story line again (or at least the first mission "Last Call" has popped up in the Tangled Shore; I have confirmed with some of my friends that they don't have the mission sitting there; and this is still just an assumption because I haven't played the mission in case that bugged me more). I have completed the Forsaken story line too by the way. I have the Ace of Spades and have an emblem with 10 Last Wish completions to prove it. Now this is all just speculation and I'm not 100% sure if what I stated above is the cause of the problem. I might just be visually bugged, but I am currently doing the "Rekindle the Flames" mission for the Izanami Forge and I am not allowed to access the Volundr Forge to do the mission because (this is just speculation) the game does not recognize that I have already completed the mission to unlock it (which I did) and I now cannot progress with it. This could just be a bug that says I haven't completed the Forsaken story line (which I have) [i]AND[/i] I'm not allowed to use the Volundr Forge, but the connection seems too real and in favor of my reasoning. If anyone could help me with this, I would be very appreciative. And if Bungie could help me with this, that would be superb.
