Regarding Cabbage and Lettuce Errors After the FotL Update (postitive feedback, no errors)
Real quickly, if you were a player having issues last week and before that with Cabbage and Lettuce errors, chances are you probably saw me active in the forums. Those errors were getting out of hand for a lot of players and I was no exception, so naturally as a forum user, I was doing a lot of investigating on my own time to try and find out what was going on. The background maintenance last week had almost no noticeable effect on error occurrences and players were still experiencing a lot of problems.
However when the Festival of the Lost update just hit, something really changed. For once in a long time, I played the game for a day without any errors. After looking around in the forums a moment ago, it looks like Cabbage and Lettuce errors just completely stopped happening for a lot of players.
That's not the only thing I noticed. A lot of the game's loading processes have changed. Load times fluctuate a little bit. Sometimes it's slower than usual if other players are around now. Crucible matches seem to now load the map name before you arrive at the destination (sometimes you hang at the black screen when you do start to fully fly in). Inventory loads faster in different circumstances now, as expected with the changes.
While a lot of that seems slightly slower, no sign of errors anywhere. Not even with this event being active with new content.
This is just what I've seen on my end. I do hope Bungie keeps track of this, though, in case it becomes a problem again after a future update. Don't know what you did, but thank you Bungie for putting in the time and effort to resolve these issues. It looks fine on my end for now.
...Btw, if you feel like answering, gotta ask. Was it actually a loading error? Can we call this the Cabbage Patch if it actually fixed these errors?
