It's fun, but it's a definite stinker
Lots of bugs, bad story, everything is world drop for some reason, abilities and perks not functioning properly, loot falling through the map, mayhem modifiers are bleh,
As much as I love borderlands and gearbox, I really hope bl3 doesn't win game of the year.
It just doesn't deserve it

They should have spent longer on the game.

Weak characters. Weak story. Weak humour. If I didn't wasn't running it co op I'd have dropped it long ago.

Edited by Lord SaladBar: 10/24/2019 3:21:53 PMI’m on PlayStation, the only bugs I guess you could say I’ve experienced are when I’m going to my inventory and it takes like 20 minutes to load, (not literally.) if you even consider this a bug. I haven’t had any problems besides slow loading times. The main villains just want to make you kill them, while you learned about handsome jacks story, you actually feel bad for him and realize he’s sorta the good guy, while in bl3, this isn’t even the case

Honest review It's Borderlands 2 but in 2019. Same gameplay, humor, story beats etc. all with a 2019 coat of paint However Borderlands 2 has something that Borderlands 3 completely fails at... An actual good villian. Handsome Jack was without a doubt a remarkable character, regardless of your thoughts on the game we can all agree that handsome Jack was the shinning star of the whole campaign. Borderlands 3 had 7 years to raise the bar they set themselves and failed terribly, no one will remember the twins just like no one will remember the Monitor from anthem or Ghual from Destiny 2

Main quest sucks. Side quests are great. Loot is great. Some small quality of life add-ons. Fast travel to different parts of the map. UI sucks. I had to force myself to finish the main quest just to finish it and would often ignore enemies because there are just way too many all the time. It was clearly never balanced for solo play even a little bit. Some enemies rival the cazador from New Vegas. I had stuttering, randomly teleporting or sharply turning at random every couple of hours throughout the entire play time which was around 30+ hours. I’m not playing again until they fix the stuttering.

My predictions have come true AGAIN

Gearbox has really gone to shit and their leadership is questionable at best.
