Go back to d1 in that respect. New weapons from the vendor each season with certain rolls able to be directly purchased from the vendor. That rotates weekly. I cant think of anyone who wouldnt want this
-
Shhhhhhh Tess will hear you bro ! She will order her little B I __ C__ E __ at Bungie to delete your account ! Or worse you will end up dead like Cayde . He asked Devrim why he had no new merch lately and BAM ghosted !

PC Mag interview with D2 design project lead said there's not enough resources in the company (around 600 employees) to refresh world and vendor items. They have plenty of resources to work on Eververse stuff it seems.
-
And hive stuff away for free. Lets not earn anything in life
-
Also bring back the option to choose your package content. Either a weapon or a armor piece. The loot pools on vendors are to big when your going for a build with element affinity or just random role weapons.
-
There are a bunch of bunch of weapon designs in game that aren't even being used. I'd like to see different versions of the prabina d.
-
Bungie wouldn't want this, they would have to take people from eververse to do this and that's not going to happen.
-
It's pretty disappointing turning in crucible or vanguard tokens and getting the same weapons that we were getting three years ago.
-
VENDORS HAVE BEEN SO UNDER USED!! Weekly rotating vendor stock was ONE of the reasons I logged on every week. It was unnecessary to do away with.
-
The lack of new loot with Shadowkeep should be an embarrassment, but nope, they seem to think they’ve given us plenty. We’re now such a long way from D1 in terms of loot it’s staggering.
-
Game in general needs new weapons
-
Sorry man, making a few moon weapons was very for stressful for bungie. I heard one dude died from exhaustion, now they have to focus on eververse to raise the funds for his funeral.
-
Edited by Hells Assailent: 10/24/2019 5:40:27 PMSorry stuffing Eververse and turning into EA is more important. I mean hell the year 1 vendors weapons still can't have mods installed on them, like what the hell?
-
All planet vendors should have a list and sell all past weapons found on that planet or at minimum switch weekly from all kinetic, power etc...with new additions added to there inventory every season as your character discovers them and the same with armor. You the can buy from the vendor items again in whatever configuration has dropped for you in the past if Bungie does not want to rotate perks.
-
Go back to d1 in that respect. New weapons from the vendor each season with certain rolls able to be directly purchased from the vendor. That rotates weekly. Complete the new raid and do certain challenges grants you the hezen armour from d-1. That would be sweet.
-
Vendors should get a refresh but Bungie have said that they are not looking to update vendors(which is just really stupid) and are more focused on adding new content.
-
they will
in D3
What people don’t understand is that it’s not just the vendors that’s the problem. It’s the poor design of the game that’s the problem. from day one destiny catch has had A lack of content and lackluster content. Forsaken was a good change of things but keep in mind catch that the franchise never reached the original vision or potential that bungee first talked about back in 2013-2014. It is that vision that the community needs to be holding bungee to. But we’ve become accustomed to the incomplete product and gave them a pass. https://youtu.be/Ll7nJ6GJzjg

Look I understand ‘content is hard’, but I was accustomed to regular vendor updates through D1 and it feels so lacklustre without them. I can’t be expected to just drop my expectations from what I was used to and enjoyed. The old content in D2 is so bland now. Just updating old armour to 2.0 without even updating year 1 weapons to random rolls just isn’t good enough.
-
The entire tower and the planet vendors should have had a full inventory refresh. This one item here and one a month or so later has gotten really old.
-
It’s so annoying when I see post like this everywhere when the answer is simple. They do not need new weapons or a reset!! Wanna know why??
bEcAuSe mAkInG cOnTeNt iS HaRd
-
new weapons to have the same rolls as all your other weapons? I don't need 5-6 different weapons with outlaw/killclip. No thanks.
-
All vendors should sell static rolls of their stock and anything that says "token" should be replaced with a different name and icon so it won't at least be so obvious that they're just vending machines.
-
You can be assured there will be someone who says we don’t need this, but for the life of me I will never understand why. If not new weapons, at least update the Y1 weapons so we can put mods on them, or just give us more variety in the rolls we can get.
-
Bungie: Ok we hear you! Now same weapons will have new vendors!
Just like Prophecy weapons are now vex offensive weapons

Problem?
-
Honestly at this point i dont think its necessary since there are plenty of methods to get weapons/rolls already. It is not that i dont want it but i dont think itll make much of a difference. I mean there are plenty of perks already and methods to farm the best weapons and rolls. With menagerie for example. Mods lets you customize even further. I think its more benefitial for us players and more practical for bungie to implement a better revision and buff of some perks that right now are useless or subpar to the same everlasting predominant perks such as rampage or kill clip. (I dont like and agree with previous nerffs thou i rather had other perks buffed to match already good perks but it is what it is) I honestly doubt bungie can make a whole new set of weapons/perks and proper balance for all vendors. The best thing they can do is revamp most of old weapons and perks to make them relevant and give us more things to shoot. If you think about it 70% of weapon loot is not even used at all. Just old stuff dismantled or at vault.

Edited by Corrick II: 10/24/2019 7:40:54 PMIt would be great to see a modular weapons system with different pieces that fit on the same chassis, akin to Borderlands, where vendor refreshes will consist of new weapons that can easily be put together by the design team. Maybe it wouldn’t be the most unique update for the vendors but would split the difference between players wanting more and Bungie’s ability to produce content.
