So I had been running gambit for the better half of the day today. I noticed that a 32 round auto rifle will not take down certain opponents a 33 round mag SMG goes through the same thing. I think it has to do with the finisher mechanic. I am on target unloading a full mag of a 450rpm auto rifle the damage delt looks good up on to the point where the finisher dot appears to the target at which that point it tanks the remaining magazine till its dry. Then I get destroyed as if I was a napkin on fire with weird circumstances of the combatants attack. I played enough gambit during opulence (earned my ghost shell for Dredgen) to notice the difference when shadowkeep came in with the finisher introduction. I brought it up to my clan who also like to run gambit and they to have noticed exactly what I have described. No it's not the nerfs/bluffs done to weapons because damage is consistent up until the dop shows up almost feels like a titan with a oem with the over shield active. The bar looks like 3mm of red and it tanks a good amount of hits and wont die. Some people in my clan had it in their minds that they need better guns that too also ran across my head but that is not the case. Gambit is a quick paced game some of you might miss it if you go into the game pay attention. Maybe even load up older youtube videos of them streamers and compare. I can see the difference in the game play.
