It’s just amazing how many times you activate your roaming super, and your fellow guardians just see it as a sign to double down on their effort to shoot every single enemy in sight.
Personally, I try to leave all enemies for the fellow guardian who is running his/her super, if I have time to react. Sure, sometimes you’ve already launched your own cluster rocket, GL round, nova bomb etc., but if I have time to react I won’t shoot. More orbs of light, better NF score etc. etc. for everyone involved. (I keep weakening major and boss enemies, but I’ll leave the kill to the roaming super, if I can.)
Maybe Bungie could somehow better incentivize good behavior from fellow guardians? I don’t have any easy solutions though, since it already gives fireteam orbs.
Maybe as a solution fellow guardians could receive small super energy increases for each enemy your buddy kills?
Edit: I’m not crying about “me losing kills”. I see this happening to fellow guardians just as much. It is just that I have observed many others from waiting out the super. Lots and lots of selfish little Jesuses running around. But carry on…

Edited by TheArtist: 10/19/2019 5:07:46 AMIf we're matched into a nightfall....and letting you generate orbs is crucial to our odds of successfully clearing the content? Sure. But if its just a garden variety strike. pub even, or Nightmare hunt? Not necessarily. If I'm trying ot complete bounty or quests steps in a strike....How is letting you generate orbs help MY situation. In fact, letting you generate orbs that I DON"T need....may lead to me having to run an additional strike that I don't have to in order to accomplish my own goals. That is part of sharing the public space in a game like this. Its understanding that other players may have their own goals....and allowing for it as long as it doesn't dramatically interfere with your play experience. So not letting make the entire screen blow up with your super? Minor annoyance...and I'd strongly suggest that you just get over it and accept it as part of random matchmaking. Someone speed-running that same strake with so little regard for YOUR wish to play through the content that enemies are literally DESPAWNING in front of you (or my personal favorite the guy who keeps doing that, only to keep dying over and over....especially when he's so far ahead that his dying WIPES the entire team. I actually had a guy RUIN a Calus bounty I was working on because his wish to speed run...and then dying WIPED me and ERASED my progress. )? Big problem....and admittedly a serious peeve of mine in strike play. Since working together to efficiently clear the content often gets the team done FASTER, than the guy determined to run off and leave everyone else.
