eververse items not compatible with non-legendary gear?
just got the empyrean hunter grips full set ornament for 1,500 silver and realized that i can't attach them to gear that isn't Legendary (rare types and even exotics!). This does not make any sense since ornaments from the Eververse are merely cosmetic, so why can't i attach them to my non-legendary gear?
Also, this isn't stated clearly before you purchase the items. I'm unable to refund as i have already opened my gear bundle. Any help on this would be good.

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. You can only apply armor ornaments to legendary armor 2.0 gear.

3 RepliesBecause lower rarity gear have limited uses, and are only good for leveling up, or getting materials. Besides, most ornaments are legendary quality, which should be self-explainable as to why they go into only legendaries, even if they're just cosmetic. Exotics are a special case since each exotic that can have ornaments, only have ornaments that are unique to them.
