Then... don't buy it? They're cosmetic. Tess sells new stuff every week, so there's a chance you can get what you're wanting for free. This is such a non-problem.

 • Its a problem because as more and more time gets spent making eververse items, less time gets spent on everything else. Less new weapons, no faction updates, no vendor refresh, no trials, etc.....

 • You think a huge amount of time is sunk into making emotes?????? Furthermore, you think that time is being taken away from other development???? What an idiot.

 • Yes. Bungie themselves have said at points that moving a rock is an all day affair. Fuethermore time is a finite resource, and bungie only has so many employees. So yes, when they spend time and labor doing one thing, it takes time and labor away from other things. Its a very simple concept. So simple that maybe you should avoid calling others idiots if you can't grasp it.

 • They did say that. But not because that time is spent actually coding. Rather because of the boot up and upload time of the engine. So with respect to the man-hours allocated to coding an emblem, it couldn't possibly be less relevant to bring up. Maybe instead of embarrassing yourself, think. The design and coding of something that's exclusively aesthetic with 0 function is minimal. It takes one person very little time, compared to whole teams of people putting in hundreds of hours to code substantive content. I suppose some artist came up with the idea as well, so maybe two people. On a project with hundreds of thousands of man hours, sparing one or two is not a big deal. Additionally, the revenue from each eververse item more than covers the cost of its design cost. You mention that time is finite, but fail to comprehend that there is an enormous amount of labor that Bungie is hardly tapping into. They hired people specifically to design eververse items, per literally job postings. The items created within eververse DO NOT take man hours away from the devs coding other content. In fact, because their costs are more than recouped, they are creating jobs. Each eververse item produces enough revenue, not only to cover its cost, but to pay the salaries of other developers. You literally have more devs, and therefore more non-eververse content, because of eververse. I know that fundamental economic and business principles are hard to comprehend to fools. This is why we need to implement an IQ test before posting. Yikes.

 • Knowing how more new things are added to eververse than the playable part of the game dont you DONT think it cuts into useful development? What an idiot. Heres your mute

 • You can get up to 1200 Bright Dust just from Weekly Bounties as well. Then you can get those smaller 10 bright dust bounties to trickle more of it into your inventory.

 • Bungie can price it however they'd like. If you're impatient enough to spend the money, that's not Bungie's fault now is it? In all of Destiny 2's life, I've only bought the Thorn ornament 'Wishes of Sorrow'. That one was one of the few that actually was a purchase available from real $$$.

 •
If you're impatient enough to spend the money, that's not Bungie's fault now is it?
A lot of eververse items this season arent going to be sold for bright dust. Its not about being "impatient"

 • Didn't know this information at the time of the post. I believe that discovery was made after the fact. So I'm going back on my statement now, they definitely need to rethink the path they're moving down with Eververse, or at the very least let us know what's going on ASAP.

 • Ahh the classic "if it doesn't bother me" post that can't be bothered to even read the original post. He said he'd buy more if the price was lower.

 • Again, I'm going to say: If you can't wait to get it for free, then just buy it. If you think it's overpriced? Then wait for it to be free. Really not a problem at all. I want Sky/Perdition but I don't want to pay the money for it, so I'm just gonna wait for it to be available for Bright Dust.
