This is going to be hard for any weapons/armor that have random rolls, however, I think it would be a good idea for them to add a feature to re-acquire Armor 2.0 from collections with low stat rolls like in the high 40s. That would be a reasonable compromise I think.

  • that is a damn lie all they need to do is allow us to lock in the rolls

  • Here's the problem with your thought of simply locking the rolls: 1. How do you handle a situation where I want multiple rolls on a single gun. For example, I have a Duke Mk. 44 with Outlaw/Rampage for PVE and Rangefinder/Moving Target for PVP. Your solution would require me to pick one to put into collections. Would it be something I would be able to overwrite later? What if I have 3 or 4 of the same gun with different rolls (I've got a couple shotguns and snipers in this category), you would only be able to keep 1. It sounds like the solution would be to put these guns in the Vault which has 500 spaces. 2. This solution would require Bungie to code in variables for every player for every gun, for every possible stat roll combination. I don't know about you, but I don't think that's a very efficient way of coding a game, especially for a messy system. This isn't a slam on Bungie and their ability to program, it's a slam on the method to make this type of system work, it would take too much memory. A possible compromise would be to allow to re-acquire the curated roll once you have obtained it once. This is something they already do with Pinnacle weapons. I could get behind that.
