Two thing I would like to know...
1. What in the hell is the Traveler doing.... it's now been 3 years since it "woke up" and has done nothing????
2. Where the F@#& is the new Hunter Vanguard??? Been over a year and nothing! Really??? (Technically we are the new Hunter Vanguard) But seriously do something Bungie!

% Technically nobody is the Hunter Vanguard and since Forsaken the Traveler has at least broadened our powers and spoke to us once more. After that it's been pretty dead. %

According to the Hunter Vanguard dare, whoever kills the Hunter Vanguard and/or issues the dare to a specific someone and then dies that person becomes the Hunter Vanguard. So, when Uldren killed Cayde-6 he became the Hunter Vanguard (technically). Then when "we" killed Uldren we became the Hunter Vanguard. The Ace in the hole mission basically explains it like this more or less.

Half right. [u]Cayde’s dare[/u] was that the hunter who killed him became the vanguard. Not only was Uldren not a hunter when he killed Cayde, he never declared his dare, so unless he’s a hunter and walks up to the vanguard to claim his prize, nobody’s the vanguard. That’s also assuming that Ikora and Zavala would be okay with him doing this, since Stolen Intel suggested the vanguard were planning to dissolve
