You and I remember D1 raids differently...
"Must have Gjallarhorn and Icebreaker, know how to use Relic, must run Sunsinger or Defender, must know Oracle and Templar cheeses, must have 2800+ Grimoire"
Nothing has changed since Vault of Glass...

Oh youre a hunter? BYE
-
Basically, yea. The amount of times that we'd get five people trying to get it out of the way on their Hunters because everyone knew that they were useless in the raid...
-
oh yeah there have been posts like this once the year 2 came along..maybe 30% but now its almost 100%
-
Way worse in D1, from what I remember, and I used lfg daily.
-
Did you forget part of the reason for Gjallarhorns nerf was people gatekeeping with it? There were articles about it lol
-
Bungie Said this was the case but i doubt that since not having lfg in game is far bigger gatekeeper than having ghorn also they could have simply had xur sell it and voila problem Solved .. I think it was due to gjallarhorn making content trivial ..
-
In game lfg is only going to work on a more local basis, since that’s how their servers are currently setup. You would get much more variety on this app vs an in game one.
-
yeah thats one of the most desperate things that destiny needs.. a streamline into the game.. where you can add information or services into the game and display them to the players but they are calculated on a server outside the game.. alos every cutscene could be streamed into the game maybe into the projection of the ghost
-
Even if you fulfil all those requirements you still wouldn’t be invited.
-
I remember getting booted because I only had 70 VoG completions... How bad do you have to be to think that 70 isn't enough to know what you're doing?
-
Yeah this didn’t happen
-
It honestly did. It was during Age of Triumph when all the raid weapons were brought forward. Bungie's API when down and they looked me up, it said that I had zero completions and he said he was going to boot me. I said that when I last checked, I had 70+ completions and he said 'that still isn't enough', and he booted me.
