Im loving all the changes they have made to the game...Except the prices in the eververse they are just to high. $12 bucks for ONE emote and weapon skins at $8 for ONE weapon skin is ridiculous. Just lower them a few dollars so it feels like a good deal and not a rip-off.

To those that say others are justifying Bungie’s tactics are just wrong. First off Bungie didn’t invent microtransactions they’re in almost every game now and to a certain point have a rightful place. Microtransaction practices today have become a major issue and comes off as “scummy”. But do understand these developers are a business. That said I feel like in comparison to other games, Bungie’s microtransactions are more fairly priced and you are far more capable in destiny of being able to acquire those items with the in game currency (bright dust) than others. I think Bungie’s biggest issue lies in how they price “dlc” content. People see that price tag and automatically think that should be it. People have a tendency to wait til the last second to pay for something knowing that items been on the way a year ahead of time. Take a look at shadowkeep deluxe edition, it’s $60 for that and the annual pass, that’s the equivalent of $5 per month, you pay less than a dollar a day to play destiny. I know this post was long but my point was that in the gaming industry today Bungie is less on the scummy side of the microtransaction controversy. I think this would also market better as a subscription rather than lump sum dlc.
