If you really want to do raids you would spend less time ranting and more time watching tutorial videos.

  • I've never done a raid I hadn't researched before and grinded the necessary weapons. Needed a void cluster bomb rocket for Riven cheese so I played a ton of Gambit to get the Bad Omens. Spike grenade launcher the new meta, got in and played Iron banner until I finally got one from tokens. If you don't like YouTube vids there are text guides online, hell I usually do both. As well I'm not going to even try to get a group until I'm over leveled, encounter say 910 be 930+. Do the leg work first, don't expect to be carried.

  • We both know if You asked to join a raid group and it said KWTD and they asked you if you knew what You were doing and You responded with “I haven’t been in the raid yet but I’ve watched YouTube videos” they would most likely kick you and find someone who actually done the encounters

  • If you go into a group and say you haven’t done it but you’ve watched a tutorial there’s more of a chance you’ll be kept compared to not knowing what to do at all. Learn to carry your own weight.

  • There’s a big difference from actually being in the raid and learning it to just watching a video 99% of team will probably kick just for that reason I’ve seen it happen countless times

  • Oh sure, let’s all memorize 10-40 minute videos so we can do a raid.

  • I'm sure alot of people on here who comment against these kinda complaints are those who have a dedicated group or clan who stick through it during all of their failures in these activities and get to a point eventually where they have a system down. Not everyone has that support group/clan to do these things with... to learn with and to fail with over and over to get it down.. Sure people can watch a Video and have an idea.. but that isn't the same as getting in the action and learning by doing.

  • Why should we spend 40 minutes teaching you a single encounter when you can watch a 10 minute video on it.

Maybe because ten minutes is to short of a time to explain a raid in full detail? And even if you did manage to cram it all into a ten min vid like nKuch did it would only cover a brief summary of each encounter. I mean yeah he told you what to do in each encounter, but if your learning with a raid team that’s willing to help you out, you can walk away learning things like helpful tips or cheeses that aren’t widely known. If you go into a raid team having only a rough idea of what to do, than it would probably still take three or four wipes before you can get it down. And hey, if people actually had the patience to teach other players more and more people would KWTD making it easier to find a raid group as the season progresses.

  • Watching tutorials doesn't get you a team willing to take you through. And even then, with all the mechanics they cram into the newer raids, how do you expect someone to watch a guide and be completely good?
