Even better is £30 for an expansion with one new exotic per class. Maybe 3 new exotic weapons On an old planet With old bosses A huge upgrade to eververse A raid. Re skinned weapons and armour A HUGE upgrade to eververse AND in the future you can buy even -blam!-ing more. For the price of £10 you can get even more upgrades to eververse!! More old loot More old bosses ANOTHER HORDE MODE!!! The list goes on..

  • In D1 they gave exotics class items. There should be more things like this added to the vendors etc... instead of just running thousands of bounties.

  • And at minimum 30 to 50 hours of gameplay with all events and persuit of all weapons - how much do you spend on a two hour movie? The math works out... And if you don't want to spend any money you can spend nothing and still play... These complaints are really unfounded now, guys...Bungie fixed these issues when they made it free to play...

  • It's not free to play if you have brought everything...nothing about this game is free to me.

  • The game is not free to play for existing players therefore it's your point that's moot

  • So because you buy a product before does that mean you never buy it again? I bought Super Mario 3 back in the early 90's so by that logic I shouldn't have to pay anything now right? Pffftt.... I mean, it's the same game, right? I have a better idea - how about you each pay $10 bucks now so that you can keep playing that game that you already paid for...I know, harsh right?

  • If you were attempting at failed metaphor, it achieved. New light does not bring anything new for existing players though. It's giving what paid players have access to the public. It's not a new game. That is the result of going F2P in mid cycle if a game with this approach. I can pay 50 bucks each, money is not the issue here. It is shameless attitude of Bungie.

  • How about that free battlepass - does that bring anything new to existing players? Unique Vex Weapons? Exotics? Seasonal Events? Iron Banner? Eververse Engrams...and all for free? Yeah I think it does bring a few things to existing players....you're just complaining to complain now - stop it...

Yeah I think it does bring a few things to existing players....you're just complaining to complain now - stop it...
Mate, I do get your point, seriously I do and I got no financial issues not to pay 60 bucks for Shadowkeep+season of undying. However, I have been playing since beta, do you really think IB, and mediocre loot pool gets me excited? Same game mode, same lag fest (which doesn't happen outside of special events), same bounty collecting way of getting armor! Eververse Engrams which I won't get anything new because I already got them from last and previous seasons? Even let's say it drops new shiny stuff, it is the cause of no vendor refreshes, I will pass on that. Seasonal Events, like solstice where I grinded 2 sets for it be useless and I mean that literally like how Bungie worded literally. "it will be the first armor 2.0 you have to get you started" what they have missed to say was drop you gonna get 2 seconds later is so much better and they are blue. Or the other ones where it turned out to be another eververse event? Unique Vex Weapons, I'd be excited if I didn't play with them already. New players might be attracted to all shiny guns but not veterans. If it is not useful or better than I already have. Then it is useless to me. Even though, I do like the scout, it's nothing new or we didn't have before performance wise. For the sake of the argument, let's say all are good. There are only 4 guns, just 4 even for paid players. How lazy is that while we used to get full sets. Exotics would be the only suggestion would get me look at it but let's be honest how long 3 exotics gonna keep me in a game which I have to play what I have been playing for the 5 years down to the public events? It's a great deal for brand new players no questions asked, but existing players who supported destiny for so long is disappointing adventure.

If you bought the expansion for the exotics, then you have more fundamental problems than what I am going to address. Old Planet - Destination being brought to D2, when the majority of the fanbase requested that Bungie start bringing back D1 destinations. You paid $60, 5 years ago for 4 destinations, so by that logic you spent $15 for the moon, 5 years ago. If you actually think that it's just copy and paste to bring assets from an old engine to a new one, then please, go develop your own Destiny-like game. Old Bosses - Literally everything you fight in any game is "recycled". It's an AI that shoots you and sometimes dodges you. Yes, there is obviously a visual aspect to it, but the main thing that makes enemies or bosses enticing or engaging is their story, which I'm assuming you could care less about, so your complaint on most of this is invalid. A Huge Upgrade to Eververse - Yeah. Bungie's resources could have been diverted elsewhere, but we spent $95 last year for the year of content (if purchased on release) whereas this years content is $60 on release. So if they want to make money selling cosmetic items, eh. I would recommend holding judgement until they start incorporating the new cosmetics into the shop that can be bought with Bright Dust. Even at that, it's all cosmetic. In the future you can buy more - Yeah. That's typically how companies make money. I'm willing to bet you complain about having to pay for all of your monthly subscriptions? Difference is, Bungie isn't making everyone pay for a subscription. They are letting the people who want to buy cosmetic items pay for everyone's "subscription" price. More old loot - literally hypocritical of your complaint. Your major complaint is about cosmetic items in the eververse, yet your complaining about recycled loot with different appearances. More old bosses - again see what I said above. Another horde mode - And the problem with this is? The list may go on, but your complaints really show how childish, entitled, and/or jaded on how commerce works that you are. IF all of this is that big of a deal to you, I hear Warframe is very similar to this game. Maybe try it out? If you're here for the story but all this is annoying you, YouTube is a thing. Plenty of people making videos on the story and the lore. Is Bungie flawless? HELL NO. But, tell me one company that is flawless. I am by no means implying that it would be nice for more changes, more things added, etc, but the MAJORITY of this fan base -blam!- when Bungie doesn't listen, the -blam!- when they do. It's no wonder why they rarely ever bother responding on here.

  • My whole thing is this - Bungie made a ton of mistakes in the past - but fair is fair - they fixed their game - it's engaging and fun to play - you don't have to pay for anything ever again if you don't want to... I'd say that fixes the Eververse issue...

So I shouldn't expect new exotics in a dlc? That's my problem? And every enemy might as well look the same because they are the same? And.in no way does importing an area from d1 take as much time and effort as making a new one.

  • Gamers are doomed once gamers themselves find excuses for bad business practices, unfinished releases by asking "show me a better example". Because, as we all know, just because every gaming company something, it makes it all OK. They do it because players like you let them and defend them to do so more.

Players like me? I'm glad there are players like me. Players that don't feel so entitled. Players that don't cry about a gaming company (sometimes) doing what the fanbase asked for. Players that realize there are costs included in the production of a product. Gamers are doomed the day people like you start taking over. Because people like you would be the reason game prices double or even triple. No thank you. I would much rather pay $300 for a game over three years than have to pay $300 a year just so that people like you can have every bit of entitlement you think you deserve. As I said before, and you so conveniently have glossed over, Bungie is not perfect. Destiny is not perfect. But you complain about so much, and the things you complain about, and your response to me strongly indicates to me that you do not complain because you love Destiny and want it to be better. It indicates to me that you are an entitled brat that is either still a child or a grown adult that never matured. But, you clearly are not going to see anything other than what you want, so I bid you farewell and wish that you find happiness in something.

There are 100 different ways of doing things, the way Bungie does it is like the Djinn granting a favor in the movie called "Wishmaster".
Gamers are doomed the day people like you start taking over. Because people like you would be the reason game prices double or even triple. No thank you. I do understand the cost associates with a product, what I do not understand the equally declining quality of said product. I am sure your ego feels better when you make an argument a product and downgrading it by saying "crying over "Gaming" companies". It seems you like this world to be filled with people who does not question anything but do as they are told by companies. I am sure EA would love you as a customer. It is because there is no point for you to say "oh, bungie is not perfect" as nobody and no game is. You are not pointing out what they have done wrong, you are pointing out one or more excuses to what they might have done wrong. It is clear that you are a fanboy which I find nothing wrong with it as long as you are brave enough to admit it. PS: I also love how you accuse me of "I wont see anything apart from what I wanna see" while doing exactly the same thing plus accusing me of being a brat or immature man (love that you cover all your bases).

Wouldn't call myself a fanboy. At least not by this communities standard of fanboy that I have seen. I am a fan of Destiny. I am no fan of Bungie. I am a fan of the story. I am not a fan of annoying ass people like you, and I am done wasting my time on people like you. People like you are sad people. Pessimistic. The glass is always half full for you. People... gamers like me, our glass is always half full. It has nothing to do with just sitting their and doing what we're told. You once again proved your immaturity or brattiness with "I did not gloss over anything you said which had any value." Clearly, as from your very first reply and both of your replies to me, you have an entitled sense of what "value" is. I am sorry that you are sad. I am sorry that you are immature. I am sorry that you feel that anyone who tries to find the positive in things is a "fanboy" or mindless drone. I am sorry that your life has led you this way. I am sorry if it's because your parents didn't/don't love you enough. I am sorry if it's because your kids (if you were even able to find a woman to put up with you) resent you. I am sorry if it's because, if you found someone, they left you. Whatever it is, I feel sorry for you. So very sorry. Life is so much better when you try to find the good out of things. But what the hell do gamers like me know. We're just mindless drones for enjoying what we have. Best of luck in your life. Clearly there is something lacking and I hope you find it. Edit: You've been here for 5 years "supporting" Bungie's horrible habit. If you actually believe everything that you have said, then that just makes you a complete idiot.
