In D1, the moment you landed in The Tower random players would just run up to you and ask if you wanted to Raid or run NFs, and were usually willing to teach on the fly. Times have changed.

I played D1 from beta and I never experienced anything approaching this. Mostly got blank invites, occasionally a message. But people running up the moment I landed in the Tower? Boi. No.

oh i know, but that was also due to a complete lack of guidance towards any means of finding a team.. i had people telling me that they waited in the raid for someone to spawn in.. they did not even know that this activity did not have any kind of matchmaking.. and this is not a single story a LOT of peopel have told me that they do not understand the idea that in a heavily team focused activity there is no was to actually find a team in game and you have to go outside to find a group.. but back then it was just a matter of being quick enough to join a raid group. and not a matter of a specifi loadout or a certain number of clears and i think bungie needs to tackle this.. by NOT pissing up the speedrunners that obviously want those experienced players but by ADDING some search filters where you can for example filter out "KWTD" posts or look for special sherpa runs. making an easy version for the raid with no respawn restrictions and a limited loot pool. and they need to do SOMETHING with the guided games stuff, that just doesnt work right now. i havent see a single day where the queue had a timer .. so it was completely empty as it seems =)

Times have changed.[/quote] Wtf- I played D1 and I was met with -KWTD -Must have ToM -Must be Max Light- not 1 light under. (To get that at the time u needed flawless trials or the raid lol.) -Must have challenge emblem For NFs it was also ridiculous- I could never get the LFG to fill. You probably had a good experience- but dont sell it like that- most of my friends have similar stories about D1- and we laugh when D1 vets complain about how hard this game is- cause now the game is dummy easy mode.

Never had those issues , even with „must have gjallarhorn“ guys you could say „have Hunger of Crota“ and you have been fine ..

I'm not selling anything. That was my D1 experience on PS and Xbox. I didn't mention difficulties, either, but if you're offended by what I said, then just be offended.

No need for apologies. We simply had different experiences, and likely the same is going on in D2. No harm no foul.

man i remember on ps3 i saw a group of 5 player in a fireteam i walked up and they invited me and we just rocked out on kings fall nowadays im sitting for hours in orbit in lfg just to do last wish with a bunch of people that will probably leave on the 2nd failure
