Let's be real.
Why should there be raid anything in rewards? Literally like less than 5% of the players actually raid.
Raids need an optional matchmaking. Period. End of story.

6% of players in the last 3hrs played Gambit so Gambit sucks clearly. Oh wait... Using limited data sets is an awful idea if you want to learn which activities are being played overall!!
-
about 20% of players raid my friend, not 5%. real stats are available if you choose to look them up instead of make them up.
-
He treats the achievement panel like it's gospel, and remember, only half the playerbase hit lvl 20 according to that.
-
close to 20 million people have started the game.. we now have about 2million or so who still play.. 5% in one group quickly becomes half in the other.. that is the issue with the numbers. You have to look a the active players not the overall put the game in adn tried it once. Now that there is free play..those number will escalate and yet the active player base will likely not change much at all.. and free players don't even have access to raids etc.

😂😂😂😂 this raid without ore screening who you let in would be awful. Not talking about people who don’t know the raid, cause they can easily be taught. I mean the individuals who are blamers, toxic, squeakers, chip crunchers, bong hitters, silent to the mofo lamb, etc.
-
What’s wrong with bong hitters you boomer
-
it's like eating into the mic. have some decency
-
They're annoying
-
As partial as I am to weed, I'd at least have the decency to mute my damn mic lol
-
Most are too busy making it a part of their personalities to do that
-
Most? Nah. Theres a metric butt-tonne of stoners out there who dont make a song and dance over it.
-
They all do it to an extent
-
The sound is extremely annoying through a mic.
-
How long did it take for the WorldFirst LW raid...?

according to ps4 trophies, (I would argue that ps4 has the most casual audience, but that's certainly debatable) 10% of all people who have ever played destiny 2 on that platform have cleared the leviathan. That's still lower than I though it would be however. And it can be said that most of those people do not "raid". so I guess your estimate is generally accurate. That said, I think about 30-50% of the active playerbase raid at least once a month. I believe that having some type of pinnacle activity to shoot for is what drives the active audience, and the fact that it's just there is what keeps many players going, regardless of whether they do it or not. So raids are very valuable when it comes to keeping an active playerbase.
-
that is fo all players ever to have played the game, if you find the current active player base that number goes way up.

People still struggle with knowing you have to throw a ball at Sedia in the corrupted nightfall imagine trying to raid with people like that
-
Who cares? It's a video game.
-
I mean if you're actually trying to beat anything I'd rather not play with someone who cant figure out the simplest mechanics.
-
yes well do you want to raid with a monkey that has no thumbs? that is what you are asking for. matchmaking where you can't kick out the bad players.. join a clan, make a team stop expecting bungie to do it for you.. did you want them to play the enconters for you too? put the effort in, if you can't put minimal effort to find a team to raid with, you clearly don't have enough effort to figure out, let alone master a raid mechanic.
-
Who cares? It’s just living... you‘ll die anyway!
