I came back to Destiny 2 yesterday, I did not have any dlcs to begin with. I got as far as I could in the game, light level. People get some dlcs if they played during year 1 right? I did not get any and I need help finding out why.

Today I redownloaded destiny 2, no prior dlcs were purchased. I played during year 1 and got maxed out as far as I could. And my friend just got the game, and he received some dlcs for free, and apparently all destiny year 1 played did, but sadly I did not and I would love to know why and if I could get that fixed.

  • The only dlcs that are free are Curse of Osiris and Warmind. Amanda Holliday has Legacy missions available which will take you through those campaigns. Also you have access to The Tangled Shore, and The Dreaming City from Forsaken and also The Moon from Shadowkeep but you need to purchase both of those dlcs for access to the campaigns and other various quests and such. Here is a quote from an article: "Naturally, New Light doesn't come with everything. For example, while players will be able to explore The Dreaming City and participate in publicly available activities, New Light players will need to purchase Forsaken to play its story missions, the Last Wish raid, the Shattered Throne Dungeon, and so on. This will also apply to annual pass content like Gambit Prime, the Black Armory Forges, and Penumbra's Menagerie. It sounds like a nice compromise, and New Light should give new players a lot to sample."
