No, no, no, no. Why are people bent on reverting back to d2y1. The game completely flopped because of it.

It's not "reverting back to Y1", it's only one feature, and it was useful. Not everything we had in Y1, is bad. Not everything we've got after that, is good.

Whoooosh

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. Please do explain how simply swapping out elements on weapons was the sole reason year one was bad.... In fact, why is it so terrible to, at the very least, get random elements on random rolls for weapons?

Please explain how gun element switching was a problem

Because you want to. As if element was suddenly the defining characteristic of a weapon, let people do what they want.

Edited by Sarges24: 10/14/2019 8:49:23 PMI don't think the mods and ability to change weapon burn on legendary weapons was the problem with D2 Y1. It was everything else that resulted in D2 being a dumpster fire. Changing burn was actually the one good thing they did. Is it necessary to have this? No. But it was nice being able to convert our favorite weapons into whichever burn we desired. Having said that it was nice to have but I really don't care. Just like having primary burns being removed in D1 this is something I've grown to live with.
