Blame Bungie for making raids too mechanic heavy and not beginner friendly.

This new raids one of the lightest on mechanics tho.

This is the one thing I don't blame bungie for. Majority of people are just too slow to learn how to do anything other than shoot stuff and even then they still can't shoot stuff. If someone cant learn something after 2hrs of being told and shown exactly how to do something, then that is one of the very few things that isn't bungie's fault. And the people who don't even attempt something until a video is out are just as bad. There's always more than one way of doing something but most people that play this game are too stupid and lazy and underaged. -
This is the reason why I haven't even attempted a raid in d2. Too many mechanics, not enough killing shit.
-
The raids are hardly difficult, the mechanics aren't even that bad. You just need people who aren't actually braindead
-
Riven ? You do realize because wig how mechanic heavy that boss was no one does it legit anymore
-
Yet you barely have anyone in the total playbase do them?
-
Only 4% of players are playing Gambit as of the last 3hrs according to Charlemagne so Gambit is too hard and not beginner friendly. Only 6% of players are doing nightfalls, nightfalls are too hard. 7% of players are doing the story, story is too hard. 5% of players are doing vex offensive, vex offensive is too hard.
-
Wow... A whole 3 hour window during a Iron Banner week..... Wow..... How about you get some actual numbers covering the game in it's lifetime.
-
If I did then gambits number would be higher... What's this... Overall time counting current active population shows 20% of the community do raids?
-
Still barely anyone
-
Literally a quarter of the community actively plays raids in a game where there are a lot of endgame options and raids aren't necessary to do.
-
Mhm mhm mechanic driven encounters have too many mechanics, end game content isnt beginner friendly. This mustve been /s that went way over my head.
-
Beginners to raiding, not total newbs.
-
A beginner of the game should find raids challenging. If a beginner can complete a raid then there’s a problem with the raid.
-
I'm not talking about a noob. I'm talking about beginners to raiding. Moderate mechanics and challenges to introduce them to the appeal of raiding.
-
Menagerie is a nice little baby step to see how they handle with the most basic mechanics. Part of the challenge in Raids is feeling overwhelmed and figuring out how to adapt and manage things cleanly while under that pressure.

Edited by Willie Lx: 10/14/2019 9:22:16 PMEvery raid is essentially just teaching the different mechanics at each encounter for the final boss which is just all mechanics in one. Thus friendly for beginner raiders, keep trying the first bits until you have it on lock for the final boss. Then once you feel comfortable with each raid, there’s challenges.
