Always these pathetic apologist that try to justify Bungies bullshit schemes with, "dont like it, dont buy it." You all disgust me.
You have it wrong, the best advise is don't buy it. That is how capitalism works. If you don't like the price on cosmetics like these don't buy it, that is the only way to get them to change, by lowering their profit. That doesn't mean people shouldn't let Bungie know why the refuse to buy them.
-
“But it’s all cosmetic” “The games F2P” Absolute brain-dead slops
-
You can literally get these items for free when Tess happens to sell them. Not to mention, they're cosmetics? Why is this such a big deal? lol
-
Soon they'll be the only ones keeping the franchise alive. Imagine that, a live service supported 100% by whales.
-
Shadowkeep and all of this year's seasons are free now? Cool.
-
So many gullible numpties in this thread.
Always these pathetic apologist that try to justify Bungies bullshit schemes with, "dont like it, dont buy it." You all disgust me.
Aww look, the communist doesn’t like capitalism... Boohooo MURICA!!! Not my problem you don’t have will power. I just might go buy the new Thorn Ornament just because of this fools post!!! Pew pew in Style!!

There is Capitalism and there are abusive markets. Learn the difference.

Wasting your time, cognitive dissonance is very hard to argue against like any fundamentalist position. They'll ignore reality to protect thier loved one. Its probably the only relationship many have had, very similar to Stockholm syndrome. These people aren't gamers in the hobbyist sense, more like teenybopper Bieber fans.
-
if you had more than one brain cell you would recognize, 1) that's not being an apologist. 2) don't like it don't spend is 100% where a consumer's power is. their money. pathetic
-
Agreed
Always these pathetic apologist that try to justify Bungies bullshit schemes with, "dont like it, dont buy it." You all disgust me.
The pitchfork and torch gabbing mob mentality people are pathetic. No one is forcing you to buy it. Stuff will be sold for bright dust today ( Tuesday 10am pst ).
-
lol Free game needs funding, Dont like it? dont buy it...no one is forcing you to buy anything, its ok anyways like Fortnite sum random kids will just steal their parents credit cards to buy silver get stocked on nice gear and than proceed to get kicked out of raids for squeaking the entire time...so see Bungie still as reliable funds :D all free to play games follow this model.
-
???? There was $12 emotes even when the game wasn't free to play. Don't try to defend this shit with the free to play argument.
-
But its not free to play.
-
😂 this shit isn’t F2P. You have to buy any dlc going forward. You’re a complete schmuck.
-
D2 isn't "free to play" in any traditional sense. They already sold the "free" stuff to anyone willing to buy. Its closer to an oversized demo they hope will entice you in far enough for the addiction to take hold so they can milk you for the new content and maybe mtx. Its a fairly smart strategy and god knows the world has plenty of idiots to fleece.

Edited by Dullahan: 10/15/2019 5:52:06 PMNot only that, but since Eververse in Destiny 1 the money from those transactions has gone directly back into the game. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Edit: Haha! somebody downvoted me for stating a fact
-
Cool. As soon as they refund every day 1 player's $150-$170 dollars paid for the game and its DLCs, then they can operate like a free to play game.

Bungie reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which the Bungie Services, Bungie Mobile Apps and Software are offered, including but not limited to the charges, if any, associated with the use of the Bungie Services, Bungie Mobile Apps and Software. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions and your continued use of the website affirms your agreement to these terms and conditions and any future modifications thereto. they can freely chose what to do with said content at any point, when u rush to click ''ACCEPT'' terms so u can login and play well u accepted those terms. ive been paying for content from D1 earliest days to now, do I regret doing so?....well maybe for house of wolves and Curse of Osiris but the rest was still a ''Decent'' investment, i don't mind shelling out a little more than an hour of work for an expansion that's gunna give me weeks of fun
-
You are so stupid 🤦🏻♂️
-
I'm sorry you don't understand the difference between free to play and a premium priced game. No need to project your intelligence issues onto me though.
-
this is where you guys get stuck on stupid. it matters not if you've spent on the game, the company is offering an optional product for sale. that's what business do, sell things. you are free to choose to buy or not, it's all useless anyhow.
-
True. Free to play games still have to pay server costs; just because it (or part of it) is free to play doesn't mean that it's free to host/run for the creators.
