Remember when people stopped complaining and made their own PUGs requiring all players to be new as well and willing to learn?

And that's exactly what it is. Not everyone is able to sit in their butts all day long and pull 8-10 hour Destiny shifts daily and sherpa day in and day out. Yet new raiders always expect to have their hands held as if everyone gets paid to sherpa. This isn't a job where someone is paid to train and I can't believe the entitlement. Making my own groups and struggling through countless wipes was how I learned King's Fall and Wrath in D1. I got my Malice and Outbreak because I wanted them. I never demanded anyone sherpa me.

I get it. When i got into kings fall i had no idea what i was doing. After i did my first run at it i was willing to help people through it. Hell, i know a portion of the eater of worlds raid, mainly the weird moving platform puzzle and the final boss. Id be more than happy to show people how to do it. And i would love to do the same for the other raids. Im bot asking to have my hand held. I want to learn so i can teach others.

And that's your prerogative. If I had more time, I'd definitely be trying to that as well. But OP is literally acting like they're entitled to having their hand held. As it stands, my gaming time is limited due to adult responsibility. It certainly doesn't help that most capable players don't hold the raid gear in the same high regard as D1. Honestly, the only useful aspect of raid rewards are the mods. Armaments and barrier mods all day. It's hard to tolerate these entitlement posts.

Of course. I have friends who just got destiny 2 due to it now being free, they frequently ask me how to do x or y. Of course i help to the best of my abilities with them on pc and me on console. One even asked me how long it took me to get an exotic engram for the sturm quest, which i could not answer because its been a long time.

Nothing wrong with helping friends, it's what friends do. Nothing wrong with helping people simply out of the kindness of your heart. I have friends I play with. I help them as much as I can. As should anyone. Endgame is friendgame. But getting on an online forum and complaining that people don't specifically offer you to hold your hand so you can raid is an entirely different thing. That's just entitlement at its finest.
