I am still trying to figure out why I am getting purples that drop as 750 when I am 940+ (without artifact) on all 3 characters.

Do you happen to be rank 43 or higher on the season pass? The seasonal bonus "Strike Armor Scrounger" is where i believe these 750 drops are coming from. After i passed 43 is when i started getting at least.
