Yep same issue happened with me, and countless others by the look of it.
Appears this is a problem that Bungie appear to be in no hurry to fix.

Does it effect eververse revenue? Then bungie is in no hurry.

Not only not fix it, but they haven’t even acknowledged it.

It doesn't decrease profits and increases player grind so why would they fix it?
