Trying to get some of the Year 1 World Drop Armor is tough, loot pool just so big now

    In D1 gear such as Spektar,Desolate and Age of Triumphs came out of sterling or age of triump boxes when you opened them the gear dropped at 3 power with no intellect, strength or, discipline and 0 perks nor stats. In order to use it you had to infuse it up and what ever you used to infuse it up it acquired all attributes of that item so all perks, stats, and rolls This also could work for the weapons even though there werent any weapons that came out of these packages or from the kiosks. In D2 this is pre shadowkeep when you leveld up you receieve engrams these engrams had a chance to unlock loot from everse, For example ill use the optimacy sets and Season 7 Explorer sets. The optimacy set you could buy with silver or sometimes got it out of the engram and when you did guess what. It was 10 power level it had no stats no perks nothing at all. You had to infuse it up and the item you used to infuse it, it acquired all the attributes of that item from the infusion. Theres your solution if you have earned a piece or set or weapon you can pull it from collections tab and it always starts out at 10 power. I will use an example from my current inventory to give a better understanding For armor lets say i have full Winged gear except the class item. I actually earned the class item but dismantled it to make room he how it could work i have another class item that is power 900 lets say so i reacquire the class item for the winged set and use the other item the one that is 900 and infuse into my class item that is power level 10. Now my power level 10 item is now 900 and has adopted all the perks stats, and rolls the previous 900 one had. Another example how this would work with weapons lets say i have a hand cannon that is 900 power but i want the last wish version one i have already acquired the hand cannon from last wish so i pull the Nation of Beasts out of my collections it drops at 10 power with no perks rolls or stats. I use it and infuse my Spare Rations which is 925 power with fastdraw, outlaw, firefly, hip fire grip, alloy magazine, hitmark, steadyhand, agressive frame, appended mag, and armor piercing rounds I use that spare rations and infuse into my nation of beasts now my nation of beasts has acquired all the perks, rolls, and stats from what i infused it with. This solution also eliminates farming for god rolls stats, perks because no matter what item it is, it always starts out at power level 10 with zero everything. Also this eliminates the work for having to figure out a way so players can require previous rolls they've earned. But obviously you could only use primaries to infuse primaries, secondary to infuse secondary, heavy to infuse heavy. This could also work with ships, sparrows, Ghost Shells ect. This is the type of system that should be adopted into D2 as well as D1 if the developers still care about that game. The majority of casual players care more about aesthetics than perks, rolls, stats thats more hardcore territory.

  • Only thing with weapons and say infusing the perks, would be that youd have to limit it to guns can only be infused into the same archetype. So you dont end up of giving a service revolver acc rounds, rapid hit, multikillclip.

    I stated that in my suggestion you can only use certain gunsit to infuse up others. Also to be honest that is just common sense if you have a sidearm with perks and I fuse it into a hand cannon only takes the unique perks that can go on a hand cannon, not taking sidearms specific only perks in giving them to a hand cannon and vice versa for any gun.
