Gaming today has gotten stupid. It uses to be about trying at least to create quality content, now it's about mico and today's generation has set the path for things to get worse with gaming companies. I mean why bother creating a decent game when we can reskin everything and just create new things to sell in our store.
When does this crap stop, when 1 item costs $70 the price of a game? Then just recycle everything to save cost so any company doesn't have to at least try to put that effort they put in their store in the game that use to be a looter shooter?
Edit: Pay no attention to anyone that insults you thinking they are better than. Any company that has respect for their player base would offer better deals and they would also make it so you can acquire all items by simply running activities. They wouldn't shut Eververse down for gamers just playing the game to acquire items so they can cash grab as much cash as they could. This Hogwash "Bungie needs to make money" that people are trying to use as poor Bungie seem to forget all the things they sold between D1 and D2 to make money.

Bungie's story that has been going since D1 that is on backorders
Refer a friend
Boost packs
Rock star, etc...
Bundles that were close to $500.00 that sold
Expansions
The Annual Pass, Battle pass and yet to come
There $100 million contract with that new IP and I know I missed more things they sold to make money
So don't give me this Hogwash Bungie "didn't make any money" and try to act like they were hurting.[/spoiler]
Edit: 1. Just had to add, I can't wait for the fake apology Bungie will give on however that will be and the ones that think Bungie can do no wrong will be like, "see, Bungie is listening" 🤦♂️

I agree with you but I think it’s more than just this generation, like that whole wave of calling us entitled children for wanting some unique loot outside of the MTX store. A lot of the defenders of Eververse seem to be older and use the argument of having a job or whatever to make themselves feel better about it.

"Having a job" is such a weak at best argument that's it's comical, it just shows how lost they actually are. People like that are what you call enablers, basically telling companies like Bungie it's okay to just create new things for Tess, no one cares about the rest of the game.

The thing is if you want f2p then mtx is critical to that business model. People dont seem to be very logical these days. No one can see the correlation, they just want and dont consider the consequences. Hence all this BS down the line where it finally Dawn's in people which road they chose.

In D1 I bought silver 1 time, I got 2 items and I was left with100 and couldn't buy anything else. That 100 is still there and always will be because I will never buy silver again.

Lol, I haven't even bother to complete 1 single raid in D2. Now in D1, I ran all of them a few times :)
