Bungie and content creators have a symbiotic relationship regarding destiny 2, bungie tailors the game to streamers/youtubers, and in return they give the game free advertising.

Nothing stopping you and a couple of like minded stubborn friends from going into the raid and doing it different than everyone that actually has clears.

Ok you want to find a team and figure the raid out on your own. Great, good for you. Find a team of people who also want to spend weeks doing the raid. Don’t expect everyone else to also want to do that. Some people enjoy the raid by mastering it quickly and getting it done in one night. Why do you think people shouldn’t be allowed to manage their time and not spend most of their life learning the raid blind when they can do the (in their opinion) much more enjoyable method of learning it quickly and finding a team that they don’t have to spend hours teaching and just get the raid done.

Where in my comment did I whine about not having a week 1 or day one completion? The problem is some of these raids are mechanic heavy to the point where they are not fun. I shouldn't have to leave the game just to figure out how to do most of the raids there.
