Im loving all the changes they have made to the game...Except the prices in the eververse they are just to high. $12 bucks for ONE emote and weapon skins at $8 for ONE weapon skin is ridiculous. Just lower them a few dollars so it feels like a good deal and not a rip-off.
-
sounds like you hate capitalism not bungie. if u don’t like it don’t buy it. it’s just a stupid emote anyways
-
I can't believe you people even think about buying anything from eververse.
-
-
I might be on my own here but when I see someone showing off with a fancy emote, I just feel sorry for them. Like, that's supposed to impress me? That don't impress-a me much.
-
Think that's bad? Wait until you see the price in Path of Exile. This has to be the highest and most costly I've ever seen in any games. 80 bucks for a SINGLE set of armor. Some even sell for $40 for a single cool-looking cape. It's crazy.
-
If they’d put everything in there between $1-$5, id easily spend money in the store every week.
-
Prices may be high, but it is what it is. We can complain and it may change, but probably not. If it's something I really want I will buy it. The only thing I've ever bought was a skin for the outbreak. Other wise I just spend bright dust and I am very selective on what I purchase. I don't buy everything. I don't need 20 ghosts with guiding light. Yes I know not all the items are in the pool this season for bright dust purchase, but oh well.
-
Hence why they should stop being called microtransactions. The sad thing is, they probably would drop the price if they weren't selling, so it seems there's plenty of idiots who can't comprehend value just lapping it up. I kinda wish the old remove Eververse attempt had achieved a full boycott. If no one bought anything from the store, they wouldn't be dedicating designers for it and we all win. Then Bungie would have to rely on content drops for funds, which would mean they get better. I really don't see any negatives in this at all. If everyone just stopped buying them, the game would improve.
-
Yeah, shits expensive. I get that it supports the team and supposedly supports stuff like the Outbreak mission. But come on, lower the prices. I still firmly believe that if you have lower priced MXT, more people will buy them. $45 for armor ornaments for all 3 characters is crazy. I spent $15 more and got the dlc and the next 3 seasons.
-
Is it time to have another “To, Too, and Two” discussion?
-
ok, too expensive for you, simple solution. don't spend. these are optional items with no value to game play, the price is set to where the company's figures tell them they should be. fretting over them is really pointless.
-
ah i see your new, this has been an issue... forever.
-
Have you not checked twitter? Dumb muricans can't throw enough money at bungie. Serious tweet: Thanks for all your hard work, now you're struggling I've dropped a oner on silver, I usually donate to charity but I love destiny and I'll do charity next month
-
I just bought the whirlwind kick and now hate myself
-
The armor set is at least 3$, ornaments are no more than 1$, emotes should be around .50$ etc. if the prices dropped I would be dropping 20$ easily per season. I cant bring myself to spend a single cent on something so overpriced, nothing wrong with selling cosmetics and yes I have money to spend but I know the value of each of those items on the ever verse. Everything on the store is overpriced and a total rip off considering players also purchased the dlc
-
I agree. If someone is willing to spend his money on the Eververse, good for him. However, 12 bucks for a single Emote seems a little bit too much.
-
As long as people keep buying it the prices will stay the same.
-
They are very overpriced, and if they want this model to be successful and fair, the prices need to match the worth of the items. EV prices should be like this: Projections - 50 silver Transmats - 50 Silver Rare Emotes - 100-250 Legendary Emotes - 300-400 Exotic Emotes - 450-500 Legendary Ornaments - 200-300 Exotic Ornaments - 350-500 Exotic Ships & Sparrows - 300-500 The current pricing of items is way too high.

Edited by mdknyte: 10/14/2019 3:51:21 PMThere's no point in buying cosmetics. Honestly no one can tell what you have on and you can rarely see it on yourself. The overall shading is different in D2 then D1. In D1, when you were out and about or in the tower you could clearly see someone wearing awesome Siva gear or whatever. Everyone in D2 looks kinda grey and dull no matter what they have on.
-
Still cheapper than fortnite. Microtransactions arent made for the majority. Just those select few that are willing to pay a fortune for useless stuff.
-
Well here's a little free advice don't play destiny drunk. You might accidentally buy $50 bucks in silver and go shopping and Bam!!! Just like that you have bought some new stuff!!! Well mine meow I guess.
-
Just don’t buy it. Maybe then they will lower the price.
-
Your fighting against new light. Many newcomers are coming in and spending as much as they can on useless cosmetics. They played a card and it’s clearly working. The eververse changes came 1 season before shadowkeep. Coincidence? Nope. Cleverly planned out.
-
Thats how we pay for bungie to nerf everything. And not listen to us wanting dedicated servers.
-
Bungie thinks raising the prices will make them money... Maybe, but I'm not spending money and I don't care about MTs in full priced games. Lower the prices and I'll buy something, Bungie.
-
Bungie failed economics. At $3 per skin they would sell exponentially more. Since they have no physical presence supply is unlimited.
