On Oct 1st. I set up cross-save but for some reason my Xbox characters were set as the active characters instead of my Steam characters. Because I didn't know that my Xbox characters were now the active characters, I went ahead and accepted the warning about setting up cross-save before logging in. However, there was no indication in-game informing me which characters were about to receive the season passes. I also deactivated cross-save to retrieve my PC characters. Why? I made a forum post a few days ago that got a response that gave me some hope. I was told that Bungie is actively investigating other missing entitlement issues. But then I recently received a response to a support ticket that I had submitted around the time that I made the forum post. I was given the same cookie-cutter response that transferring season passes between accounts is impossible even though it was already done once on Oct. 7th. This response makes it sound like nothing's being done and that there is no hope. I am still clinging onto the hope from the response on my forum post.
I currently have 3 options. 1. Buy Forsaken + Shadowkeep + Xbox Live ($25+$35+$60) for Xbox, and have 1000 silver refunded to my Xbox account for the redundant season pass that my Steam account [i]still[/i] won't see) and play with my 3 friends that have it on Xbox, 2 of which also play on Steam. 2. Spend $40 for my 4 season passes. 3. Pray that Bungie will find a resolution before Season of the Undying ends. I am leaning towards choice 3 because I refuse to spend any more than $60 like everyone else for this content. I refuse to spend $100 to get $60 worth of content. The first two options are just unacceptable.
Is Bungie actually investigating other missing entitlement issues? Is my issue amongst them? How is my issue different from those who received a fix on Oct. 7th? When will I receive [i]my[/i] fix?
