What's the best loot drop you've ever had in Destiny?
(Can be in D1 or D2)
Mine just happened yesterday while patrolling the Moon.
I killed a Nightmare Ogre point-blank with a grenade launcher (blowing myself up in the process) and he dropped an exotic.
It was Monte Carlo. I almost died of laughter.
So I guess if you want an exotic, just perform a ritual sacrifice.

Gjallerhorn from first completion PoE 28 reward (House of Wolves), on 3rd character. The first 2 both got Plan C which I had just got from a PvP end-match reward...I was overjoyed...that it wasn't a FOURTH PLAN C

I got a Monte Carlo to drop on the Moon. No idea how and no idea when, because I just checked my inventory and randomly found it to be there. Otherwise I’d say my best drop was the Gjallarhorn from the Gorgon chest in VoG. Normally whenever I’d run that raid with friends we’d all gather at the chest and open it together, but in this instance we were just doing a quick run. I was the first to the chest and in the middle of talking about something when I opened it. I got the Gjallarhorn, got down on my knees and yelled “Yes! Finally!” then returned to what I was talking about as if nothing happened while three of my raid mates said “-blam!- you” since they didn’t have the gun yet, and the other two congratulated me.

Icebreaker y1D1.... god I miss that thing. Haven’t gotten any exotic drops since SK launched though (and very few before that too, but that was pre forsaken when I stopped playing) Rngesus doesn’t like me. :( (Never got Gally or Mythoclast from VOG or CE raids in d1 either.)

Another NITC... it was my first legendary drop when starting... loved that gun, ran that for what seems forever.
