How do I close my Bungie account?

Can someone direct me on how to close my bungie account. I cant search the forums because there is no search function and the articles only tell me how to link or recover my account. There is no information anywhere on bungie.net that I cant find to close and delete my account.

You cant delete a bungie.net profile. You can only unlink accounts tied to it and then abandone the profile.
