Hello,
I am having an issue with starting Destiny 2 on Steam. After playing today, and then taking a break to do some household errands, Destiny 2 will no longer start up, giving me an error that says there was a problem reading the game content, and to verify the integrity of game files. I use the verify files function within steam but the problem persists. I searched on google and found a solution to delete the steam_appid.txt file in the games directory, however no such file exists. At the risk of having to reinstall my game entirely, what can be done about this issue? If any official Bungie support can comment on this, that would be very helpful.
Thank you.

Same problem here. 13 days since Steam launch and no solution!

Same issue. And if I restart the game without verifying the integrity it will crash on the same spot again. If I do verify, it will always find several files which need to be redownloaded, It helps for a day or two and them problem reoccurs. I have scaned for viruses and malware and PC is clean. No idea how those files become corrupted.
